NaPoWriMo 6: A Quiet Nature Talk

Peeping and pecking,
The red-heads sing and holler.
Their little tufted bodies,
Sweep from tree to tree.

Snuffling and searching,
The long-noses sniff and snack.
Their snouts so long and agile,
Swing across the ground.

Howling and barking,
The furry-ones chase and yap.
Their lengthy legs,
Eat up the ground.

(Woodpecker, Anteater & Wolf)
